Bare pipe suits later shop treatment; oil or varnish adds temporary handling protection. A specified project coating is a separate finish choice.

ASTM A53 Grade B · ERW and seamless pipe for bulk orders
We supply ASTM A53 Grade B black steel pipe for distributors, mechanical contractors and fabricators. Choose ERW or seamless construction, Schedule 40 or 80, and full lengths or cut pieces. Pipe-end preparation and export packing can be included in the same order.
Full lengths suit workshops that cut and weld their own pipe. Finished pieces suit repeat assemblies where the length and connection are already defined. Both formats are available for wholesale orders, with each size priced separately.
Bare pipe suits later shop treatment; oil or varnish adds temporary handling protection. A specified project coating is a separate finish choice.
For frames, rails and supports, cut lengths and deburred ends reduce the preparation left to your workshop. Drawings that call for structural HSS retain their specified material standard; A53 pipe is quoted as a separate product.

The quote separates material, end processing and coating costs. Quantity and production timing are assessed for each size and wall combination.
The table pairs each nominal pipe size with its actual outside diameter and Schedule 40 or 80 wall. These selections support A53 Grade B purchase lists; the pipe route and finished length complete each item.

Dimensions are nominal values to ASME B36.10M. Product tolerances follow the ordered A53 specification; a schedule number does not by itself establish a service pressure.
Cutting, facing and connection preparation can be purchased with the pipe. We work from the finished-piece dimensions so the quotation covers the work your team would otherwise complete after receipt.
NPT threads, coupling grooves and weld bevels require different end geometry. Each cut piece retains its item reference, finished length and specified connection; groove dimensions also depend on the coupling profile and pipe wall.
Match the ordered groove profile with the grooved couplings and fittings selected for that pipe size and wall.
The finish stops at the joint areas defined for assembly: thread engagement, gasket seating or the weld cutback. These areas are identified with the surface-treatment scope.
Material identity, dimensions and test results are checked together before release. The shipment records connect the specified pipe route and grade to the packed order lines.
ERW pipe is formed from steel strip and joined along a longitudinal seam. Seamless pipe uses a billet-based route. We supply the route named in the order, with its required sizing, heat treatment and end preparation.
We check the ordered thread, groove or bevel geometry and the finished length after end work, alongside the pipe diameter, wall and surface condition.
Grade, manufacturing type and heat or batch references connect the pipe to its material certificate.
End checks cover the ordered squareness, bevel, thread or groove geometry.
Mechanical and specified hydrostatic or nondestructive test results follow the applicable pipe standard.
The delivery pack includes the agreed material and inspection records, plus size, quantity and bundle references.
Bundles separate diameter, wall, length and grade. Steel straps and timber supports secure full-length pipe; short cut pieces have their own counts and packing-list entries.
End caps protect openings and machined threads. Covered handling and dry storage limit exposure before dispatch; longer storage or marine transport can be included in the preservation requirements.
Pipe length and bundle weight determine the loading arrangement. Mixed sizes remain separated, with package references that help your receiving team check quantities and allocate material.
We quote the product, processing, packing and agreed freight scope as separate items. Consolidated or phased shipments can follow the project sequence, with production and transport shown separately.
Yes. Different sizes can share a purchase list and shipment. Any production or processing minimum applies to the individual order line and is identified in the quote.
Only when the project accepts the change. Both routes are offered, but the material specification and inspection requirements remain part of the purchase agreement.
Yes. We coordinate access and the agreed witness points before shipment. The inspection scope and required release documents belong in the order so production and the inspector use the same acceptance basis.
The required product listing or approval must match the actual system. A53 designation and black finish alone do not establish it; we review these requirements separately from ordinary pipe supply.
The order number, affected bundle reference and receiving photographs let us trace the shipment. We review the material and inspection records, identify the affected quantity and agree the next action under the order terms.
The order identifies the required piece length and its end reference. Checks after end processing use that same reference, so the delivered dimensions match what the cutting and receiving teams are working to.
Send a short requirement or attach your pipe schedule and note the destination. We will return an itemized quote covering material, preparation, quantity and delivery scope; details already in the attachment need not be copied into the message.
