We supply flanged OS&Y gate valves for wholesale fire-water orders and project valve schedules. The selected valve keeps its face-to-face length, full stem-travel envelope and flange arrangement together. Selected V3101–V3106 flanged OS&Y catalog dimensions. Hmin and Hmax are the minimum and maximum overall valve heights; allow additional operating and maintenance access. The pressure and temperature rating is identified on the selected valve submittal, separately from flange drilling.
ANSI B16.1 Class 125 identifies the selected flange connection. The valve submittal separately states its working-pressure rating and service conditions so both connection geometry and pressure requirements are matched.
Orders requiring UL Listing or FM Approval use the actual approval record for the supplied manufacturer, model, size and rating. The applicable evidence stays with that selected configuration in the project submittal.
The adopted valve and coating specifications define different acceptance requirements. The submittal names the applicable product design, finish and inspection scope for the supplied series.
A replacement valve must match the gap in the existing pipework as well as its nominal size. The L dimension and gasket arrangement determine whether the flange joint can be assembled without altering the spool.
The layout needs space around the wheel and above the moving stem. Wall proximity, nearby pipework and overhead members can restrict an otherwise correct valve selection.
A stem switch is a separate assembly with its own bracket, actuator travel and electrical requirements. The order identifies whether the valve is supplied switch-ready or with the specified switch installed.
The approved connection detail coordinates the mating flange face, gasket and bolting arrangement. We match the supplied valve flange to that complete joint detail alongside its nominal size.
A clear visible stem position supports valve status checks. Each riser item can retain its size, connection, monitoring requirement and approved product configuration in the same valve schedule.
Replacing an existing OS&Y valve starts with the complete installed envelope. The open height, flange spacing and switch interface are as important as the pipe size when the surrounding equipment remains in place.
The operating check covers travel, visible position and unobstructed handwheel movement. The inspection scope also checks the stem and yoke for handling damage.
Face-to-face length, flange arrangement and the selected height envelope are compared with the submittal drawing. Different valve series can have different dimensions at the same nominal size.
Required pressure and closure test records follow the selected product standard and purchase specification. Test pressure is identified as a test condition, separately from working pressure.
Connection faces and coated surfaces are inspected before protectors are fitted. The valve identity remains connected to the material, test and approval documents required by the order.
Timber blocking carries the valve body during shipment. Stems, handwheels and switch brackets remain protected and clear of hard crate contact.
Clean protectors keep the flange faces and waterway free from loose packing material. Separate accessories are identified so the receiving team can reconcile switches, fasteners and valves.

The supplied stem length forms part of the valve operating mechanism and selected configuration. Where overhead space is limited, the approved valve arrangement must accommodate its complete open envelope and retain that specified mechanism.
The catalog L dimension is the valve’s face-to-face length. The installed connection also contains the gasket stack. Record the exposed mating-flange faces and the specified gasket arrangement separately so the replacement body is compared using the same datums.
Class 125 identifies the flange connection geometry. The supplied valve model has its own stated working-pressure rating for the service conditions; both requirements are checked in the submittal.
The offer states whether the valve is switch-ready or supplied with the specified supervisory switch and bracket installed. The switch assembly has its own identified supply line and configuration.
This gate-valve supply is for isolation. A continuous regulation requirement uses a valve selected for control duty at the actual flow conditions.
Approval coverage is specific to the actual manufacturer, model, size and rating. An order requiring it includes the applicable approval evidence in the selected valve submittal before acceptance.
