Industrial Ball Valve Supplier

Flanged WCB and stainless assemblies with PTFE seats

Our flanged ball-valve supply covers catalog sizes from 1/2 to 12 in. in PN10 and PN16 series. WCB carbon steel, SS304 and SS316 bodies are separate selections with PTFE seating. The offer identifies the actual bore, flange pattern and manual operator instead of treating every valve of one nominal size as the same assembly.

Flanged ball-valve nominal sizes

Select the connection size from the published range, then retain the bore and installation drawing with the valve line. Piggable and full-port assemblies are identified on that drawing.

Assembly ratings and service requirements

Body and soft-seat limits

Fluid composition, operating temperature and cleaning conditions are checked against the complete assembly data.

Flange standard and pressure series

DIN, JIS and ANSI connections retain their own size and rating designations. The order names the actual flange pattern, facing and installation length.

Closure and special-duty records

Closure testing, fire-safe qualification, antistatic construction or emissions performance require their named evidence for the supplied model. A PTFE seat or quarter-turn movement establishes none of those qualifications.

Bore, body construction and operating space

Full and reduced ports

A full-port request needs a defined minimum clear bore. A reduced port introduces a smaller passage; the acceptable pressure drop and passage requirement come from the process design.

Body split and maintenance route

One-, two- and three-piece constructions use different assembly and maintenance arrangements. The selected body drawing identifies which sections can be separated and which adjoining pipework must move.

Manual operator envelope

The operator drawing locates the stem, gearbox and handwheel. Nearby pipework needs clearance for operation and removal, including any planned actuator or monitoring hardware.

Ball-valve procurement for plant packages

Equipment isolation

Flanged assemblies create removable connections at equipment and piping package boundaries. The selected shutoff duty and direction remain on the valve specification.

Distributor valve assortments

Body grade, seat, bore and flange series distinguish the actual stock descriptions. Separate line items prevent a reduced-port carbon-steel valve from being treated as the same item as a stainless full-port request.

Ball, seat and operator release checks

Assembly identity

Body, seat and operator references are matched to the accepted valve item. Material records describe the actual supplied components and required document scope.

Open-port dimensions

The bore and connection dimensions are checked against the selected drawing. Full-port dimensions are measured against that drawing.

Closure and operation tests

The agreed procedure defines shell and closure testing, test medium, direction and leakage acceptance. Operator travel and position indication are checked with the complete assembly.

Protected ports and flange faces

Covers keep debris away from the bore and sealing faces. The body carries the packing support; the operator and handwheel remain clear of lifting or restraint contact.

Documented operator package

Manual operators, monitoring devices and any separately specified drive retain their own identities. Included loose parts use a counted hardware list.

Material and destination basis

Our quotation separates the valve assemblies, required documents and accessories. Sizes, material selections, quantities and shipment terms remain visible for the actual destination.

Industrial ball valve purchasing questions

Can the valve be used for continuous throttling?

A general isolation ball valve is not automatically suitable for sustained modulation. Control duty needs the appropriate port characteristic, seat design, pressure-drop assessment and operator selection for that service.

Does full port mean the valve is suitable for pigging?

No. Pig passage also depends on the required clear envelope, alignment, transitions and the approved pipeline procedure. The valve needs the actual bore and construction accepted for that pigging system.

Does PTFE seating prove fire-safe performance?

No. A soft-seat material does not establish fire-test qualification. A fire-safe requirement needs its named test standard and evidence covering the offered valve construction.

Can the gearbox be replaced by any quarter-turn actuator?

The drive has to match the valve mounting, stem geometry, travel, required torque and operating conditions. The correct rotation angle alone does not establish a compatible actuator.

Can a ball valve trap liquid inside the body?

Some constructions can retain liquid in a body cavity. Temperature changes can increase cavity pressure; any required relief arrangement and permitted installation orientation belong to the selected valve design and instructions.

Are flange gaskets and bolts included with the valve?

They are separate supply items unless listed in the offer. When included, their size, material and fastening arrangement follow the actual mating flange and service specification.
