Hook-ended steel flights in 450 and 1,000 mm catalog widths

We manufacture prefabricated steel stair flights with perforated treads, side stringers and hooks at the upper and lower ends. The catalog includes 450 and 1,000 mm width references, with separate horizontal-bay and vertical-rise dimensions. Select the complete flight to suit the receiving supports and landing arrangement in your ringlock access schedule.

Factory catalog stair-flight reference dimensions and component weights. The selected flight drawing identifies the finished hook datums, tread arrangement, usable width and receiving support. Its applicable loading and access requirements belong to that specified configuration.

Flight selection within the ringlock access arrangement

Complete flights with prefabricated steps

Each listed stair is a complete flight with treads carried between its side stringers. The receiving scaffold schedule identifies the standards, support members, landings and edge-protection parts around that flight.

Width and landing relationship

The selected width is considered with the landing opening and adjacent scaffold members. Clear walking width, side clearances and handrail positions are dimensioned on the access detail, preserving a defined route at both ends of the stair.

EN 12811-1 access provisions

EN 12811-1 covers access and working scaffolds, including the access provisions a stair flight serves. Mobile access towers, rope-suspended platforms and temporary roofs sit outside its scope and carry their own standards. The adopted specification selects the flight.

End hooks, level treads and landing transitions

Upper and lower receiving supports

Hook form and inside diameter match the scheduled support tubes. The upper and lower connections retain their respective positions, engagement and required retention arrangement on the complete-flight drawing.

Tread spacing along the flight

The stair detail defines the tread count, rise and going for the selected bay and level difference. Those dimensions establish the step sequence and its relationship to the first and last landing surfaces.

Stringer and tread attachments

Tread attachment and stringer geometry remain part of the chosen flight configuration. The required material, weld and finished-surface details identify the steel assembly supplied under each flight reference.

Stair-flight orders for access packages and fleet replacement

Flights scheduled between working levels

An access takeoff assigns a flight to each bay and level change. Flight quantities, landing members and guarding components remain identifiable order lines, allowing the delivered parts to be reconciled with the intended access arrangement.

Replacement flights for an existing tower

The retained flight and receiving support details establish the replacement geometry. A complete-flight order keeps the original bay, rise, width and end-hook configuration together under one reference.

Finished stair geometry and support-hook checks

Stair-flight geometry check

Bay, rise and landing datums

The finished flight is checked using the specified upper and lower support references. Width and step positions are related to those same datums, preserving the intended landing transitions.

Treads, stringers and attachments

Checks cover the required tread arrangement, perforated surfaces, stringer positions and attachments. The selected specification identifies the weld and surface acceptance for the complete steel flight.

Hook seating in the finished condition

A matching support reference checks the selected hooks and any required retention detail. The completed finish is included in that fit, with the flight reference connected to its inspection record.

Complete-flight prices and protected stair packing

Each flight has its own item and count

Our offer identifies the selected flight, width, bay/rise reference, finish and piece quantity. Associated landings or guarding parts retain separate entries, making the included access components clear.

Supports beneath the stringers

Packing supports the stair assemblies at their intended strong contact areas, with separators between adjacent flights. Projecting hooks and step edges remain clear of strap-bearing and stacking pressure points.

Receiving by bay, rise and width

Packing groups separate different flight references and preserve their complete-piece counts. The order’s shipment terms and actual packing dimensions accompany the scheduled quantities.

Ringlock scaffold stair purchasing questions

Is the catalog width the clear walking width?

The table retains the catalog W reference. The selected drawing gives the clear walking width between the actual stringers or guarding components, together with the overall envelope needed at the landing opening.

What inclination does an L2,000 × H2,000 mm flight represent?

Equal horizontal and vertical geometry gives a 45-degree reference inclination. The same member drawing identifies the steps, hook datums and landing interfaces used for that complete flight.

Is a 2,000 mm bay interchangeable with a 7 ft bay?

Seven feet equals 2,133.6 mm, a 133.6 mm difference from 2,000 mm. A flight order retains the actual bay reference and receiving-support geometry so that the completed member matches its scaffold arrangement.

How are flights counted in a multi-level order?

Count one complete flight for each flight position on the access takeoff, then group identical references. A schedule with three matching flight positions calls for three complete flights, with landings and guarding components counted under their own items.

What should accompany a sample-flight request?

The selected bay, rise, width and receiving-hook detail establish the sample configuration. The agreed sample checks can cover its finished dimensions, step arrangement, support seating and surface finish before the production quantity is released.

Can 450 and 1,000 mm flights share one shipment?

Yes. Each width and bay/rise configuration has its own item, piece count and packing group. Our quotation identifies the component totals and packing basis for the combined order.
