Casing for Wellbore Support
Casing is supplied for the specified wellbore program, with its body dimensions, grade and connection. Wall and joint geometry retain the clearance and loading requirements of that string.

API 5CT well tubulars for oilfield and wholesale orders
We supply API 5CT seamless casing and tubing from China for oilfield distributors and well contractors. The core selections below cover J55 tubing and J55/K55 casing. N80, L80 and special connection requirements form separate project items with the complete grade type and supporting records identified in the offer.
Casing and production tubing can be quoted together from your approved tubular schedule. Each string retains its dimensions, grade, connection and length requirements.
Casing is supplied for the specified wellbore program, with its body dimensions, grade and connection. Wall and joint geometry retain the clearance and loading requirements of that string.
Production tubing carries fluid inside the casing. Its bore must accommodate the required flow and downhole tools, while the upset ends and couplings must clear the surrounding casing. Replacement tubing also needs to match the existing completion’s connection and material specification.
| Order item | Supply basis |
|---|---|
| Product families | Oilwell casing and production tubing |
| Table coverage | Selected seamless (SMLS) catalog combinations; grades shown by row |
| Product specification | API 5CT, with the edition and supplementary requirements named in the purchase order |
| Other manufacturing routes | ERW casing or tubing inquiries are reviewed against the requested grade and dimensions |
| Weight designation | Retain the requested nominal lb/ft designation together with OD and wall |
| Length | R1, R2 or R3 catalog length options; product-specific range or fixed length retained on each line |
| Casing end selection | Plain ends or the specified API round / buttress threaded-and-coupled configuration |
| Tubing end selection | Non-upset (NU) or external-upset (EU) configuration to the completion specification |
| Material designation | Core J55/K55 selections below; N80/L80 requests quoted with their exact type |
| Bore acceptance | Required drift diameter and mandrel length, including special-drift requirements |
| Delivery records | Material and specified inspection records linked to the pipe identification |
| Commercial quotation | Line-item quantity, unit-price basis, production timing and shipping terms |
For grades or dimensions outside these selections, we quote the exact combination rather than substituting the nearest catalog entry.
These entries come from our seamless pipe catalog. The inch wall is retained as listed; metric values are the catalog’s rounded equivalents. Wpe is plain-end pipe-body weight. Threaded-and-coupled nominal weight belongs on the order as a separate designation.

Each row keeps its diameter, wall and grade together. Grade type, connection and length complete the purchase specification. For a nominal lb/ft request, we match the corresponding wall and end configuration in the offer.
Pipe ends and matching connection components are quoted with the tubulars. The order identifies the API end form or any separately reviewed special connection.
Short-round, long-round and buttress connections are prepared to their specified geometry. The connection designation remains with the casing size, grade and required mating equipment.
External-upset tubing has a thicker end section for the connection. That larger envelope matters when tubing passes through casing, hangers or other completion equipment. Non-upset tubing has a different end configuration; neither should be substituted simply because the pipe body has the same OD.
Inspection covers the material, bore and prepared connection. The agreed checks and records identify the selected grade, end form and tubular specification.
A drift mandrel checks whether a defined tool envelope can pass through the pipe. The mandrel’s diameter and length both matter. A calculated inside diameter from OD minus twice the wall cannot establish a drift result, especially where a completion calls for special drift.
Thread gauges check the specified connection geometry. Visual end checks cover handling damage, burrs and contamination before protectors are fitted for shipment.
Pipe markings and material records need a common heat or lot reference, so receiving staff can trace each order line to its chemistry and mechanical results.
The test requirement belongs to the applicable product specification and purchase conditions. Its pressure is an acceptance-test value, not the operating pressure assigned to a completed well.
Special drift, additional nondestructive examination and purchaser witness points must be included in the inspection plan before the affected work begins.
We include the agreed material and inspection records with the release documents. The report references, pipe identification and shipment tally give the receiving team a consistent way to reconcile the order.
Threaded ends travel with fitted protectors. Timber supports and restrained bundles keep the connections away from hard contact during handling. The protector style and preservation finish form part of the packing specification.
Bundles identify casing or tubing, size, grade, connection and material lot. Those references remain visible on the packing list after end protection is fitted.
Length tallies list the delivered joints against total footage and piece count. Loading follows the actual joint lengths and the receiving site’s handling access.
The quote itemizes tubulars, connection work and packing, with quantity by line, delivery basis and production timing.
Yes. A single material list can include both families and several sizes. Each quoted line shows its production quantity, any applicable minimum, price basis and delivery timing.
Re-use depends on the connection designation, material compatibility and the condition of the existing components. The completion or inspection team must accept those components for re-use. A new tubing order should identify whether matching new couplings are included.
No. The material type and the well’s exposure conditions must satisfy the approved service specification. H₂S, CO₂, temperature and the applicable material limits affect selection. We quote the stated grade and type; well-service suitability remains part of the engineering specification.
Our casing and tubing catalogs list R1, R2 and R3 length options. The same range name does not give the same limits for both products: the offer identifies casing or tubing, the ordered range and any permitted short joints. The shipment tally lists the delivered lengths.
We review it as a separate supply requirement. The exact connection name, licensed processing source and supporting documentation have to be established before it is included in an offer. An API round or buttress connection is not an automatic substitute.
This page covers API 5CT casing and tubing. API 5L line pipe carries fluids in pipelines and has its own product page below. Drill pipe has a different specification and connection system and is outside this casing-and-tubing offer.
Attach your tubular schedule with a short note, or enter the product family, OD, wall or nominal weight, grade, connection and quantity. Add the length requirement and delivery destination. We return a line-by-line offer with the proposed supply combination, price basis and production timing.
