Choose sprinkler pipe by end connection, wall schedule and black, red-coated or galvanized finish for the installation.

Choose sprinkler pipe by end connection, wall schedule and black, red-coated or galvanized finish for the installation.

For orders already specified to ASTM A795: compare the material type, wall schedule, testing and required listing documentation.

Select OS&Y gate or butterfly valves around the connection, operating clearance and supervisory arrangement.

Separate mains and branches by NPS, schedule and end preparation. Grooved runs use the matched coupling assembly; threaded branches use the specified pipe wall and thread form.
Pipe OD, groove profile, wall condition and coupling model determine a grooved connection’s fit. The gasket also follows the specified service. Nominal size alone cannot identify the assembly; the grooved fittings page covers its coupling, elbow and tee choices.
An OS&Y gate valve needs stem travel clearance; a butterfly valve needs space for its operator and disc. Monitored isolation points also require the specified supervisory arrangement. Those details distinguish models with the same nominal connection size.
Black, red-coated and galvanized finishes can share an order as separately marked lines. Group bundles by building or installation zone for receiving.

Our quotation separates pipe designation, wall schedule, lengths and components by order line. Different end or finish instructions remain attached to the item they affect, rather than passing as one blanket production note.
Cut lengths and ends follow the accepted order. Plain, roll-grooved and specified threaded items remain separate in the bundle plan, with the required preparation identified for each installation group.
The finish applies to the designated pipe lines. Coating records identify the selected system, color and end treatment; galvanized items retain a separate identity on the order and packing list.
Dimensional checks follow the specified pipe and prepared end. A grooved order also identifies the applicable groove dimensions, coupling model and gasket, so the connection parts can be checked against the same schedule.
Bundle and package marks connect sizes, order lines and delivery groups to the packing list. End and surface protection preserve the prepared items, while valve and fitting counts remain separately identifiable.
Review the full displayed NPS and wall table before splitting the order by schedule.
Check the connection dimensions that must agree across the pipe, coupling and fitting.
Define the monitored valve arrangement and the information needed for its selection.
Provide the existing component’s manufacturer and model when available, plus clear markings, measured connection dimensions and photographs or drawings. For a valve, include face-to-face space and operator clearance. These details help identify a compatible option before a replacement is quoted.
Keep the specified item and the proposed equivalent on separate lines. Include the relevant dimensions, material designation, rating and required listing record for review by the project team. Release the alternative for supply only after the project’s acceptance process is complete.
Send the pipe or component list, quantities, sizes, wall schedules, ends, finishes, required documents and destination. A typed list is enough to begin; drawings and valve or coupling requirements help define the complete order.
