Heavy-wall seamless alloy pipes on storage racks

Alloy Steel Pipe Supplier

ASTM A335 P5, P9, P11 and P12 seamless pipe

Our A335 alloy-pipe catalog covers P5, P9, P11 and P12, with outside diameters of 21.3–610 mm and Sch 20–XXS walls. Full lengths and cut pieces serve plant fabrication and planned replacements; each grade keeps its own delivery condition and material requirements.

Chrome-Moly Pipe for Power & Process Plants

Plant orders retain the specified P-grade and heat-treated delivery condition. New construction and replacement pieces are reviewed against the same material requirements.

Steam & High-Temperature Piping

Full pipe lengths and cut pieces retain the specified P-grade. The project design and fabrication requirements set the matching fittings, weld procedure and inspection scope.

Refinery & Process Maintenance

A replacement section must match the original material specification, not merely its measured diameter. The old drawing and material record are more useful for grade selection than the appearance of the removed pipe.

Cutting & Delivery Condition for Alloy Pipe

We cut alloy pipe to the requested lengths and retain part and heat references through end preparation and packing.

Prepared Ends & Identified Blanks

Plain ends, bevels and machining blanks follow the drawing. Blanks retain the facing or machining allowance requested for the finished connection.

Each piece tied to its grade and source heat
End machining

Heat Treatment as a Material Condition

The pipe is quoted with the delivery condition required for its grade. Subsequent fabrication and post-weld heat treatment belong to the later fabrication scope.

Record linkage
Treatment lot linked to the pipe heat or batch identity

Alloy Identity, Delivery Condition and Dimensions

Release checks bring the material certificate, finished-piece dimensions and required pipe-test results into one shipment record.

Seamless Production & Grade Control

The seamless route produces the hollow section without a longitudinal production weld. Grade-controlled handling keeps chrome-moly pipe distinct from ordinary carbon pipe through finishing and cutting.

Material Results & Delivery Records

Chemistry, mechanical properties and applicable hardness results are reviewed with the delivered condition. Pipe-body tests and dimensions remain separate acceptance items.

Grade Identification

The material certificate identifies the P-grade and the delivered material lot.

Condition Evidence

The record reference connects the treatment lot with the heat number on the material certificate.

Piece Dimensions

Wall, length and prepared ends are checked after the specified processing.

Shipment Traceability

Cut-piece and package references link the delivered quantity to its material documentation.

Identified Alloy-Pipe Packages

Grade and Heat References

Package identification keeps the A335 P-grade and heat references visible through storage and dispatch. Similar-looking pipe is separated by its material identity.

End and Surface Protection

Ends are protected against knocks and contamination. Supports separate the pipe from loading surfaces without covering the identification needed at receipt.

Cut Pieces by Part Reference

Short blanks and finished-length pieces retain their part references. The packing list allows the fabrication shop to match pieces with the relevant material records.

Price the complete material requirement

Grade, delivery condition, quantity and additional inspection can change the production route and timing. Our offer separates those requirements from freight and identifies the exact supply selection before order release.

Alloy Steel Pipe FAQ

Is the size table available in every listed grade?

The table is a nominal dimensional reference. Our catalog covers P5, P9, P11 and P12 within the listed OD and wall ranges; the quotation confirms each complete grade, size, wall, condition and quantity combination.

Can one A335 P-grade replace another?

Use the grade specified by the project. Different P-grades have different material and fabrication requirements; a replacement needs engineering approval for the service, joining and heat treatment involved.

Can short cut pieces retain the original heat identification?

Yes. Part and heat references stay connected through cutting, end work and packing. The delivered piece count can then be matched to the relevant material records.

Are A335 pipe and A213 tube the same product?

A335 P-grades describe pipe; A213 T-grades cover boiler, superheater and heat-exchanger tubing. Even when alloy families are related, dimensions, wall basis and the product specification must match the ordered item.

Can I quote a replacement from an old pipe sample?

A sample can help establish geometry, but its appearance does not identify alloy grade or original delivery condition. Add the old drawing, marking or material certificate when available so the replacement can be matched correctly.

Does the pipe delivery record confirm post-weld heat treatment?

It records the delivery condition of the supplied pipe. Post-weld heat treatment is a later fabrication stage; it needs the records for the actual welded assembly.
