Grooved Flange Adapter Supplier

Grooved pipe connections to flanged valves and equipment

We supply split grooved flange adapters for wholesale fire-water piping orders. The adapter engages the prepared pipe groove and presents a bolted flange connection to the valve or equipment. Each selected assembly keeps the pipe OD, mating flange pattern and sealing-face arrangement together.

Flange-adapter sealing-face reference

A smooth annular contact area is a separate check from the bolt pattern. These selected manufacturer-reference dimensions show the face area retained by one adapter design.

Victaulic Style 741 ANSI Class 125/150 reference, publication 06.06 Rev AA, August 2026. A and B bound the required smooth mating-face annulus in that drawing. The selected adapter offer includes its own OD, drilling and sealing-face detail.

Pipe groove and mating-face selection

The gasket seat continues to the flange

The shaped adapter gasket contacts the pipe and the mating flange face. Its lip orientation, profile and required contact surface follow the selected assembly drawing, keeping the seal supported around the bore.

Rubber-faced or serrated components

A lined valve face, serration or inserted ring can change the surface presented to the adapter gasket. The accepted connection detail identifies any required adapter washer, transition ring and adjacent flange gasket as named parts.

An accepted fire-water assembly

Required fire-service approval records identify the actual adapter manufacturer, model, size and gasket configuration. The component list retains those references with the selected connection.

Adapter clearance around valves

Butterfly-disc sweep

A valve disc can project beyond its flange face as it opens. The adjoining adapter and fitting bore are checked through that swept envelope, including any lining and gasket projection.

Split-body orientation

The hinge or closing lugs need room beside the flange bolts and valve operator. Their installed orientation stays visible on the connection drawing so the adapter can be assembled and serviced.

Face conditions before bolting

The required contact annulus remains smooth and continuous. The fit review includes recesses, raised-face geometry and coatings in that area as well as the flange drilling.

Grooved-to-flanged joints in material packages

Valve and pump-room connections

A split adapter connects the grooved branch to the accepted flanged valve, strainer or equipment nozzle. The equipment connection drawing defines the mating face and access around the joint.

A compact replacement interface

For a replacement flange connection, the pipe-end position and available face-to-face space establish the assembly envelope. The adapter body, seal and any required ring are reviewed as one stack.

Adapter fit and sealing-surface checks

Pipe-side retention

The adapter key and selected groove have matching engagement geometry. Checks cover the pipe-end seating region, groove identity and visible damage around the retaining shoulder.

Flange-side contact

The connection review locates the gasket contact area on the actual mating component. A washer or ring, where specified, is checked for the correct model, size and position in the joint stack.

Complete assembly identity

The packed body, gasket and closing hardware carry the same adapter reference. Separately supplied flange bolts and joint gaskets retain their own quantities and specifications.

Adapters packed as connection sets

Protected gasket profiles

Dividers keep adapter bodies from bearing on the shaped seals. Gaskets and rings remain clean, separated and identifiable beside their closing hardware.

Mixed interface schedules

Adapters with different OD or drilling series retain separate carton lines. The receiving list matches each set to its equipment connection or valve tag.

Our quote identifies the adapter model and finish, included seal and hardware, required rings and records, followed by packing and destination terms.

Grooved Flange Adapters purchasing questions

Does a grooved flange adapter need another coupling at that pipe end?

The split adapter itself engages the prepared groove in the selected connection. Its assembly drawing identifies that retention and the flange-side seal; a separate straight coupling is counted where the layout contains another grooved joint.

What does A/B sealing-face geometry add to a bolt-circle check?

The bolt pattern locates the fasteners. A/B locates the annular face that supports the seal in the named reference design. Both checks use the actual mating component drawing, including any recess or lining.

Can an adapter accommodate an axial expansion gap?

The selected joint design defines its restraint and permitted movement. An expansion duty is scheduled with an identified movement assembly and its anchors, while the flange adapter retains its specified connection function.

Which gasket compound should accompany a treated fire-water system?

The selected gasket data is reviewed against the water treatment additives, concentration and operating temperature. The offered seal keeps its compound, profile and adapter model together on the supply line.

Can we reuse flange bolts from the existing valve?

Their diameter, thread, grade and usable length are checked against the new joint stack. A required washer, facing change or thicker flange can alter that stack; the quote identifies any replacement fastening set.

What identifies a replacement adapter gasket?

The adapter manufacturer and model, actual pipe OD and seal compound identify the replacement. The shaped lip profile and mating-face arrangement remain tied to that same model.
