Square, rectangular and round HSS for wholesale & project orders
We manufacture welded carbon steel hollow sections in China, including ASTM A500 Grade B and Grade C. Order square, rectangular and round profiles from one material list, in 6 m or 12 m lengths or with cutting and finishing to suit your fabrication work.
Square posts, rectangular frame members and round braces can share one shipment, with the required preparation and finish for each profile.
Structural Members for the Same Build
Flat faces on square and rectangular tube provide seating for connection plates. Round braces need their end preparation matched to the adjoining member. Our full-length and cut-piece supply follows the sizes and connection details on your fabrication drawing.

Equipment Frames & Repeated Fabrication
Rectangular base members, square uprights and round supports can require different cuts and surface preparation. Preparing them to their part drawings reduces the cutting and finishing left to the assembly workshop.

Square, Rectangular & Round HSS Dimensions
The linked BAOLAI factory catalog is the source for these HSS selections. Square and rectangular inch values are metric conversions; round inch values retain the catalog dimensions. SHS/RHS rows show nominal wall ranges, while CHS rows pair one OD with one wall.

Order full lengths for workshop cutting or prepared pieces from your fabrication drawing. Both can share the material list, with the cutting, finish and quantity priced for each item.
One Cut List for Three Profiles
A mixed schedule gives every member its own profile, size, wall, grade, part mark and finish. Full lengths and prepared parts can share a release lot without combining their material or processing quantities.
Full-Length Stock
Stock-length rows carry the profile, size, grade, mill length and piece count.
Prepared Members
Prepared-member rows add the part mark and drawing revision to the selected material line.
Assembly or Release Lots
Assembly and release marks group different profiles for receiving. Loose members and welded subassemblies keep separate counts.
Mill Finish, Oil, Paint and Galvanizing
Black mill-finish sections suit further fabrication and coating. Oil adds temporary handling protection, while paint or galvanizing forms a separate finishing choice. Cutting and welding can affect the finish around the joint, so the order needs to identify whether coating takes place before or after fabrication.
Mill finish or oil
Suitable for a workshop that will carry out further preparation. Any restriction on oil follows the planned welding or painting operation.
Painted sections
The paint system and areas left for welding form part of the finishing scope, rather than being inferred from a color alone.
Galvanized sections
The fabrication sequence, openings and connection details are reviewed with the galvanizing requirement before the work is scheduled.
Production Checks for Mixed HSS Orders
Material records identify the grade and heat or batch for each profile. Dimensional checks cover its outside size, wall, length and prepared features.
Welded Tube Forming & Sizing
Steel strip is formed and welded along a longitudinal seam, then sized for the ordered section. Square and rectangular profiles require checks on their flat faces and corners; round sections require diameter and ovality checks. Cutting and finishing follow the agreed supply condition.
Checks That Match the Profile
A square tube is checked across both faces; a rectangular tube across its height and width. Round tube is measured across the actual OD. Wall, length, straightness and prepared features are checked against the applicable order requirements, with the specified material tests recorded separately.
Grade & Batch Reference
Grade and heat or batch references identify the material on each order line.
Wall & Finished Length
The inspection scope retains wall and length requirements for each order line, including prepared pieces that share one tube size.
Cut Faces & Prepared Features
End condition, hole position and other ordered details are checked against the drawing references used for fabrication.
Material & Shipment Records
The document list covers the material certificate, required inspection results and packing list. Purchaser witness points or a specified certificate format are included when agreed with the order.
Mixed HSS Bundles & Export Delivery
One Shipment, Clearly Separated Profiles
Square, rectangular and round sections are grouped by profile, outside size, wall, grade and length. Bundle references follow the order lines, while cut pieces retain their own counts. The receiving team can match the shipment to the material list without sorting by appearance alone.
Bundle Supports and Surface Protection
Straps and timber bearers support the bundles for handling. Painted or galvanized material needs its contact points considered in the packing plan, particularly when it shares a shipment with black mill-finish sections.
Production Time & the Arrival Date
Our factory's usual HSS production reference is 15–30 days, depending on specification and quantity. Cutting, finishing and the shipping schedule affect the complete order timeline. An export quotation separates production readiness from sea freight and the agreed delivery point.
An Itemized Wholesale Quote
We price each profile, size and grade with its cutting, finish and export scope. FOB, CFR or CIF quotations identify the named port and the transport included.
Ordering Structural Sections
Does a mixed-profile order have one minimum quantity?
Minimum quantities are reviewed for each profile, size, wall and preparation. The quote shows any line-specific minimum, including mixed-profile and trial orders.
Can I replace the quoted material list with a revised schedule?
Mark the changed profiles, sizes, grades, quantities and preparation on the revised list. Those changes need to be reflected in the quotation before order release, so the accepted schedule and supplied members use the same revision.
Can one HSS list use different grades or finishes?
Yes. Each member line retains its grade and finish, so black, painted or galvanized pieces can be reviewed in the same purchase without merging their material or processing requirements.
Can you select the member size from a load requirement?
The project designer selects section size, grade and connections. Our offer covers manufacturing to that material list. Structural HSS is not supplied as pressure pipe, and changing to another material standard requires a separate review.
How should I describe a rectangular member with angled cuts?
Use the full outside height, width and wall, then a part drawing with the cut plane, angle and reference face. This keeps the member orientation and left- or right-hand preparation clear through fabrication.
