Ringlock Ledger Supplier

Horizontal members with matched heads, captive wedges and clear length references

We supply horizontal ringlock ledgers with a 48.3 mm tube outside diameter and matched end heads. The catalog lists six length references from 1.0 to 2.5 m; each selected member keeps its wall, head and wedge detail. Complete ledgers and separately listed spare parts have their own quantities, with finished connection dimensions returned on the member drawing.

Published horizontal-ledger length and mass references

The catalog distinguishes its length reference from the number in the tubular specification. The theoretical weights below use the stated 3.25 mm tube-wall basis and the catalog ledger configuration.

First-party horizontal-ledger catalog rows with 48.3 mm tube OD. Published theoretical mass uses 3.25 mm wall and the catalog head arrangement; other wall/head variants have their own member mass. Catalog length reference and tube-specification length are listed separately. The quoted drawing establishes finished end-to-end length and intended scaffold-node spacing.

Ledger function and connection-family identity

Horizontal ledger and deck transom

A ledger connects standards horizontally in the selected scaffold arrangement. A platform-support transom retains its own support and loading detail; the component schedule identifies the member’s permitted role.

Tube and head materials

The tube, connection head, wedge and weld detail have their own specified material requirements. These details identify the complete horizontal member supplied under each ledger reference.

The connection matches more than the tube diameter

Head seating, rosette opening, wedge geometry and engagement identify the joint family. The order matches those interfaces and the 48.3 mm tube to the intended standard and scaffold system.

Head seating, wedge movement and member length

Two ends locate one finished member

The head reference points and their relationship to the tube establish the completed ledger. A tube cut to the catalog reference length would omit those end offsets and can produce the wrong bay interface.

Bearing nose and wedge travel

The head seats against the standard in the intended orientation while its wedge engages the rosette. Finished coating, burrs or distorted head features can prevent that seating even when the tube length is correct.

Welded heads stay in their alignment

Head positions and weld details follow the ledger drawing. Both ends are checked together for their relationship to the member axis and mating connection planes.

Spare pieces retain the same revision

Replacement wedges and loose heads retain the original connection detail and revision. Any accepted repair uses the specified component and procedure for that identified ledger family.

Ledger lots for distributors and retained ringlock fleets

Size-by-size stock orders

Each catalog reference and selected member detail has its own piece count. Bundles of shorter ledgers remain distinguishable from longer pieces and from diagonals with similar-looking heads.

Fleet replenishment

An existing member drawing or measured mating reference identifies the requested connection family. The fleet’s inspection and release for use remain separate from the purchase of new ledgers.

Ledger length and finished head checks

Member dimensions

Tube and finished length checks use their stated datums. Both end-head positions are related to the same member axis and connection drawing.

Mating head and wedge operation

Fit checks use the identified standard/rosette reference and finished head surfaces. The wedge seats and remains retained as required by that family’s detail.

Weld, finish and part identity

Required weld and surface checks follow the member inspection plan. The ledger reference and lot remain connected to the supplied head and tube identities.

Ledger prices and head-protected packing

Complete members and loose spares

Our quotation prices complete ledgers by selected length/reference and piece count. Spare wedges or heads are separate items, with the included finished-member configuration visible on the offer.

Ends supported between bundles

Bundle supports and separators protect the projecting head and wedge features. The steel tube carries the intended packing contact instead of a captive wedge becoming the bundle support.

Receiving by actual member reference

The packing list separates ledger groups from standards, diagonals and deck parts. Any boxed spares are linked to their connection family and kept outside the complete-ledger count.

Ringlock Ledgers purchasing questions

What tube length accompanies the 1.0 m catalog reference?

Our catalog lists 951.7 mm in the tube-specification column for the 1.0 m reference. The quoted drawing states tube length, finished ledger length and scaffold-node spacing separately.

How is a horizontal member selected for platform support?

The scaffold design and member specification identify the permitted platform-support function and loading detail. A ledger or transom is supplied to the corresponding component drawing and connection family.

Does the listed weight apply to a 4.0 mm wall ledger?

The published theoretical weights use the catalog’s 3.25 mm wall basis. A different wall, head or wedge configuration changes the member mass and must retain its own quantity and shipping basis.

Are replacement wedges included in the complete-ledger count?

Each complete-ledger line states its included wedge arrangement. Additional loose wedges are itemized as spares, keeping member counts and small-part counts separate.

How are replacement ledger heads specified?

The head, weld detail and accepted repair procedure follow the identified member and connection family. That specification establishes the replacement part and the required release of the repaired ledger.

Can one shipment combine several ledger references?

Yes. Each reference and member configuration keeps its own piece count and bundle group. The packing list identifies the selected heads, finish and any loose spares for those groups.
